The Vigeland Museum's two Sculpture Conservators are responsible for the conservation, restoration and maintenance of Vigeland's sculptures, both in the Museum and in the Vigeland Park.

The Sculpture Conservators work mainly with sculpture in plaster in the Museum's exhibition halls and magazines, but the collection also includes other materials, like clay and marble. Among their daily tasks are cleaning, reparations, retouching, registration and documentation of Vigeland's work of art.
